White Buffalo Saloon in Sarasota Announces Closing

In a message just posted to Facebook, the White Buffalo Saloon has announced that they are shutting down.

To our White Buffalo Family:

Unfortunately the White Buffalo Saloon at 5377 McIntosh Rd will be closing on June 19th. This was a very difficult decision. We would like to thank everyone for their support and business over the last 8 years. While the physical building will be closed, the memories and friendships will live on. Join us this month for final celebrations at WBS. We look forward to seeing you at the 5377 McIntosh Rd location. We will drink and dance till then!

2021 Island Hopper Songwriter Fest Schedule

The 2021 Island Hopper Songwriter Fest dates have been announced, covering 10 days of great live music on the west coast of Florida!

This year’s headliner will be Florida’s own Michael Ray, who will be performing in downtown Fort Myers on September 23rd. For a full list of artists and songwriters with the city/cities they will be performing in, visit island-hopper.fortmyers-sanibel.com/artists.

Brett Young Announces Two Florida Tour Dates

The good news: Brett Young is coming to Florida for two shows! He is bringing Maddie & Tae and Filmore to the Florida dates. Ryan Hurd and Matt Ferranti are on the poster, but will not be part of the Florida lineups.

The bad news: His Boca Raton show is the same night as Chris Stapleton’s show in West Palm Beach, causing a conflict for country music fans.

Clay Walker took the stage at Renegades in West Palm Beach on May 3rd, 2021 as we started to get back to normal thanks to the COVID-19 vaccine. It was a typical Clay Walker show, complete with streamers and stage pyro. The only thing missing were the beach balls usually found in the crowd during “Then What,” which I guess with COVID-19 still lingering, they didn’t want to have bouncing balls being touched by several people. He did disappointingly omit some of his classics, including the top-10 hits “Who Needs You Baby,” “Only on Days That End in ‘Y’,” “Watch This,” “The Chain of Love,” “A Few Questions,” and “I Can’t Sleep.”
