You can add former Florida State and current San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey to the list of professional athletes that David Nail roots for.  Ground Up Logic has released a mobile game app titled BUSTER BASH, which is a baseball game that follows Posey from his days playing in his backyard to Florida State to the Big Leagues.

David Nail songs “Grandpa’s Farm” and “Let It Rain” are included in this app.   “It’s the kind of thing where when someone calls you, you don’t even think about it,” says Nail. “The whole thing is so cool, and to be a part of something that’s both groundbreaking and baseball as a musician and a fan – hell, yeah!”

For more information about the game, which is a free download via iTunes, visit BusterBash.com.

TMZ.com is reporting that Randy Travis was involved in a single vehicle accident in Texas late last night.  Law Enforcement Officials tell TMZ  “officers received a call at 11:18 PM from a person who stated there was a man lying in the roadway.  When cops arrived to the scene, they noticed Travis’ 1998 Pontiac Trans Am had driven off the road and slammed into several barricades in a construction zone. Travis was initially arrested for DWI — but once he was inside the cop car, officials say the singer threatened to “shoot and kill the Troopers working the case.”

While the major announcement was made yesterday afternoon, the minor details have finally emerged. Country Music’s Power Couple have announced they will participate in a 10 weekend – 40 show Las Vegas Residency. Tickets range from $95.50 to $1000, and are available beginning today with fan club password.

The Venetian Theater has a maximum capacity of 1815 seats, but will be modified to accommodate Tim & Faith’s show. “We’re in the process of building the show now, and we can say the production is going to be very cutting edge,” McGraw said during the press conference (8/7). Hill added, “The setting alone is very different from what we’ve done in the past, and with the Venetian willing to be flexible with our schedules, it was a beautiful opportunity to create a moment in time for our fans and family.”
