The week started with most of Florida being affected by Tropical Storm Isaac, which included both of our main locations which each lost internet for nearly a week.  Due to the outage, we were limited in the amount of news we could bring you, so here’s a review of everything that went on this week (and there’s a lot!)

  • Casey James released the video for his new single, “Crying on a Suitcase.”  Check it out here!

  • Colt Ford is coming to Renegades this Thursday (September 6th) and we’ve got tickets to give away.  Click here to enter!  Also, congrats to Colt who’s latest single, “Back” (featuring Jake Owen) is the highest charting single of his career as it is starting to climb onto the charts.  It’s about time he gets some recognition and airplay from radio!

  • Colt Ford recently announced his first ever charity golf tournament.  For all the details, click here!

  • Country Radio is dominated by a select few artists who get a majority of the airplay.  Read about it here.
  • Dustin Lynch is having a good week!  His debut album was the #1 country album in it’s first week in release, and his debut single, “Cowboys and Angels” has reached the Top 10 and has sold over 500,000 digital downloads!  Congrats Dustin!

  • Eric Church was recently interviewed by Billboard Music, and the part that jumps out the most is the fact that he plans on taking most of 2013 off to focus on songwriting.  He does intend to release at least one more single after “Creepin'” from his current album Chief.
