First Performers Announced for Suwannee River Jam!

srjThe first wave of artists have been announced for the 2013 Suwannee River Jam!  Performing at the 4 day event that runs May 1-4 will be Sheryl Crow, Eli Young Band, Rodney Atkins, Easton Corbin, Randy Houser, and the LoCash Cowboys, with many more big names to be announced in the coming days.

General Admission tickets will be on sale tomorrow, Friday January 10th until midnight for just $75 for a 4-day pass!

The Suwannee River Jam includes 4 nights of live music from national acts and local contest winners, as well as the first ever Ultimate Redneck Wedding, the Ms. Suwannee River Jam Daisy Duke Style contest, Letters from Home to soldiers overseas, and Hope Notes, a silent auction fund-raiser to benefit local high school bands.

Brad Paisley Announces Title of New Album

It was previously announced that Brad Paisley’s next album would be released on April 9th, and we now have a name for it!  He announced it last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, then again confirmed it on twitter overnight with the following tweet:  There you have it – my new album is going to be called “Wheelhouse”

Wheelhouse will be Paisley’s 9th studio album and will feature his current hit single, “Southern Comfort Zone.”  His last 6 albums debuted at #1, will this be Lucky #7?

Taylor Swift to Perform at The Grammy’s

The Grammy’s announced their first wave of performers today, and so far Taylor Swift is the only country act announced.  Also announced as performers today were The Black Keys, FUN., Mumford & Sons, and Rihanna.

What other country artists would you like to see take the stage on music’s biggest night?
