Amanda Watkins, one half of Miss Willie Brown, just posted this announcement on Facebook a few minutes ago, announcing the end of Miss Willie Brown:

To Our Dear and Loyal Fans,

We would like to share some news with all of you and look forward to your support and understanding. We have decided to part ways as a band to pursue our separate dreams. With Kasey’s and your support, I will be continuing my career in music as Amanda Watkins and carrying on the heart and soul on which Miss Willie Brown was built. I support Kasey as she decides to take a break from the world of music. I’m sure as you have seen over the past few years, there is nothing that will ever come between us.

The songs that you have been loving and playing will be ever present on my solo journey. It’s going to be a great year with lots to come! And I promise to keep you updated every step of the way through touring, videos, posts and most of all music.

Thank you for all the support you have shown us. You are honestly the greatest fans.

Love,
Amanda & Kasey

*As of right now, everything Miss Willie Brown has been changed. Please make sure you follow and share the love. Links below!

We wish each of them the best as they move forward in separate ways.  We’ve gotten to know these two awesome gals a little bit over the past couple of years and hope for nothing but success for them.

It appears that Faith Hill is ready to pass the torch with her NBC’s Sunday Night Football gig.  A few minutes ago this was posted to her Facebook Page:

“Amazing 2 have been part of SNF – an honor. I’ve just let everyone there know it’s time 2 let someone else rock the open. Difficult decision. Kinda emotional. Love all u guys at SNF – I’ll b watching!!!”

Who would you like to see perform the opening song to Sunday Night Football?
