“I’m sorry to tell you that Chad passed at 4:15am this morning to the song “In the Arms Of the Angel”. That was the song Chad and I sang at his Moms memorial service. I’m just devastated and completely heartbroken but I am so glad he’s not suffering anymore. Thank you all so much for your prayers and kinds words during this extremely difficult time. God Bless you all.”

You may know Chad and Heather as the Chad and Heather Country Rock Duo. They are a talented husband and wife team who play in South Florida venues, including Blue Pointe. We’ve gotten to know them and are devastated to share this news, please read Heather’s post from GoFundMe:

“I am raising money for my husband, Chad Murphy and I, for medical expenses and loss of income. He has no health insurance and has been admitted to the ICU with a life and death diagnosis of extreme diabetes that has put him into kidney failure and possible pancreatitis. He’s being treated intensely to try and get his sugar level down and is in an extreme amount of pain. Doctors don’t know how long he will be hospitalized and with his loss of income and no health insurance, the burden is heavy for us.
