Welcome to the new home of South Florida Country Music! You’ve known us on various social networking sites for more than 6 years, and we’ve finally taken the leap to launch our own website in conjunction with our new company, South Florida Country Music, LLC. We’d like to invite you to read this welcome note, then take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with this site and give us some feedback in the comments section below.
Our mission is to make this website your #1 source for all things Country Music and all things that go with the lifestyle of being a Country Music fan. We feel that launching this website, business, and new logo will help us build on the relationships and partnerships we’ve already made in the Country Music scene. As you may have noticed from our recent giveaways, we’ve already worked with leaders of their industries such as The Round Up Country Western Nightclub, CBS Radio, 107.9 WIRK, JamFest Productions, Tom Jackson Band, Rambler, countryfannetwork.com, and other companies/bands. We are also currently working on some big things with other leaders in Country Music-related industries such as radio, clothing, bars/nightclubs, venues, record labels, marketing/promotions, and artists themselves.
Our daily posts on the social networking sites will not change. You will still get the latest news, “Daily Things To Do” posts, etc. on Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, etc. We will be moving all of our reference information from the discussion tabs on Facebook to this site, as you’ll see under the “Things To Do In Florida” tab in the Navigation Bar. All future contests and prize giveaways will be done from this site, and it is our goal to always have at least one contest going on at all times. We will feature all Local Country Artists that are based in Florida, offering them a chance to set up their own page here where it’ll be easy for Country Music Fans to discover some new music. We will be posting all kinds of articles; from news, concert/event previews and reviews, CD reviews, photos, videos, etc. We are working on launching a store, where you will be able to purchase all kinds of things…from local/national artists’ CD’s and merchandise to SFCM logo’d items to various other Country Music-lifestyle related items.
How will this be a business? Well, for you the readers, nothing will change. We hope that the content we provide will make us one of your favorite websites to visit. This in turn will allow us to generate advertising revenue based on the traffic we have. We are launching our Artist/Event Services division, where we will utilize our relationships to help bars, nightclubs, venues, weddings, and other private parties put on any kind of Country Music-themed event. As mentioned above, we will be opening our store soon. Lastly, as we already have for CBS Radio, WIRK, and soon-to-be The Round Up, we will cover Country Music events like no other media outlet can or is willing to do. For the foreseeable future, any profits we generate are going to be reinvested into building this into something even bigger and better.
