Jason Aldean recently brought his “My Kinda Party Tour” to the Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach with Chris Young.  Before arriving in West Palm Beach, this tour was touted as one of the “Hottest Tickets” of the year, and this proved true by 4pm as the show was completely sold out!

Chris Young got the day off to a great start for many fans by doing a meet and greet autograph signing at the nearby Wal-Mart from 12-2pm.  Hundreds of fans lined up and wrapped up and down the shoe aisles waiting to meet the rising star to have him sign his new CD “Neon.”  The fans weren’t disappointed as he took a moment to sign and pose for pictures with any fan that asked.

Hours later, Chris Young took the stage and got the crowd fired up with a mix of hit ballads, unreleased party songs, and many new songs off of his new album.  Besides him not wearing a hat anymore, the most notable change with Chris Young since his performance last year on the same stage is that his stage presence and energy was much improved.  With 4 straight #1 hits under his belt, this is a guy to keep an eye on as a future headliner in the next 3-5 years.

Jason Aldean took the stage to “Tattoos on This Town” which is from the “My Kinda Party” album.  After that Jason stream-rolled through his set with non-stop rock-star energy playing hit after hit.  I’ve been to dozens of shows at the Cruzan Amphitheatre, and I have never seen it as packed as it was this night, and the crowd was into it.  What an atmosphere.  The only complaint people had were that the set was a bit short.  The show was over a good 30 minutes earlier than most shows end, but it seems that people were on such a high throughout the set that most didn’t mind.

After the show, many fans moved the party over to Renegades, where members of Jason Aldean‘s band came to hang out.  The line was wrapped around the building, the place was packed, but it was a great ending to a fun a day!
