Miranda Lambert appeared on Good Morning America today with her new group The Pistol Annies to perform and to make a couple of announcements.
The Pistol Annies is a new group that Miranda has formed along with 2 of her closest friends, fellow musicians Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley. Miranda will still continue with her solo career, but will work with the Pistol Annies as a side project. The first new music we’ve heard from them was “Hell on Heels” which they recently performed on the “Girls Night Out: Superstar Women of Country” ACM TV Special. The song is also available for sale as a digital download.
It was announced that The Pistol Annies‘ debut album, “Hell on Heels” will be available on August 23rd as a digital download or from their website, pistolannies.com.
Miranda also announced that her new album “Four the Record” will be released nation-wide on 11/1/11.
