Max DuBose was born in Texas City, TX in 1960. He began writing music seriously in 1988 in the Shreveport, LA area. He began writing for country music bands the same year, writing for Sheryl Brewer and The Outta Hand Band. He next wrote for the Stagger Lee Band, a two-time Entertainer of The Year on The Louisiana Hayride. A short time later Max was signed as a song writer by Ann Stuckey who is a former President of the Nashville Songwriter’s Association. For the next ten years Max wrote and worked with The Crawdads and The Mike Seaman Band along with Betty Lewis and the Executives. He has also performed with the Jerry Beach Blues Band. Max has served as bodyguard for music stars such as B.J. Thomas, Carlene Carter, Percy Sledge and many others. Max has polished and honed his skills as a Songwriter/ Publisher for more than twenty years while writing /singing and performing with some of the best artist in the music business. He now makes his home in Lake Worth, FL and performs in local clubs from Lake Worth to Delray Beach. Max recently released Max DuBose – Eyes Wide Open as well as Max DuBose – Maybe and is receiving airplay across the US on Independent FM Stations from Maine to Hawaii and Alaska to Tampa Bay.
