Jerrod Niemann told us when he was in town last September that a new album was in the works, but at the time he was still in the “writing” stages. While his fans have been anxiously waiting for the “Lover, Lover” crooner to release the new album, he’s been working hard touring and recording. He recently released the first single from the new album, “Shinin’ on Me,” and it was just announced that the album will be titled “FREE THE MUSIC” and will be released on October 2, 2012!
