Former WIRK (West Palm Beach) morning show co-host Meg Butterly was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor.  Below is the news as reported by Country Aircheck.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to Meg…we’ll be rooting for you!

Our thoughts are with iHeartMedia WKKT/Charlotte morning co-host Meg Butterly, who is facing surgery to remove a brain tumor that was discovered after she experienced a series of headaches recently. “It presents as benign so that is amazing, but it will need to be removed and taken to pathology to confirm,” she tells Country Aircheck. “I’m meeting with a neurology surgeon Tuesday to schedule the surgery, but until then the tumor jokes are flying and helping to keep my spirits up! I am blessed to have an amazing support system here at iHeart, and with my friends and family, so I am choosing to do everything I can to stay positive!” Butterly was back on the air this morning (9/1) and can be reached here. She’s co-hosted ‘KKT mornings with Paul Schadt for seven years.
