- Toby Keith believes that “Rich Folks” should pay their taxes…Toby says “I expect the wealthy to write a check ’cause it’s as bad as it’s ever been.” “It would be unpatriotic not to try to save the country. I’m sure people will b***h about it, but if it meant we get to operate in this country and live here another day, then so be it.”
- Jake Owen‘s “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” is Certified Platinum!! Jake received his plaques last night and had this to say “I had never received a plaque until ‘Barefoot’ was certified gold and that was maybe two months ago,” says Jake. “Then, I couldn’t believe it when I got one for ‘Eight Second Ride’ going gold, which was a song I wrote when I was in college at Florida State. And now, to be standing here with three plaques is just wild. I’m actually speechless. I’m just so grateful to so many people. I’m going to take a photo of these right now and send it to my mom and dad. They aren’t going to believe it.”

- ALL 5 of the CMA Entertainer of The Year Nominees are set to perform on “Country’s Biggest Night”…. Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, and Taylor Swift will each perform at the 2012 CMA Awards on November 9th… The show will be hosted by Brad Paisley & Carrie Underwood, and will be broadcasted live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
- Rodney Atkins celebrates a #1 single & loses the baseball cap… Following the trend that Chris Young recently set, Rodney Atkins removed his baseball cap multiple times in his new music video “Take A Back Road.”
- Chris Young‘s First Beer with Jason Aldean was a little awkward…. Jason Aldean & Chris Young finally sat down for their first beer together as tourmates, at the time that “Dirt Road Anthem” was the #1 song in the country…“So when are y’all gonna go No. 1?” Jason asked Chris….“Uh,” Chris hesitated, “next week.” Turns out Jason just laughed.
