- Billy Dean to Host Songwriting Retreat – Aspiring writers who sign up to be part of Billy Dean‘s Writers Block will be invited to his farm for a songwriter’s retreat with him and 23 other songwriters. Membership is $50, but there is only ONE slot left for the retreat.

- Shania Twain to Appear in Her Own Mini-Series – The series, titled “Why Not?” will air on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) beginning on May 8th. The episodes will cover all eras of her life, from childhood to her post-divorce life.
- Sugarland to Appear on Idol – Sugarland will make it’s debut on American Idol on Thursday, March 24th during the results show.
- Taylor Swift to Appear in Dr. Seuss Movie – Taylor Swift will appear in Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, slated for release on March 2, 2012. This happens to be the anniversary of the author’s birthday!
