The threat of inclement weather did not stop fans from arriving early at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in anticipation for the fifth Kiss Country Undercover Concert.  As the doors opened and fans rushed into Paradise Live, they were greeted by a huge light screen and a full-band stage set-up, both of which were firsts for the Undercover Concert series (all previous Undercover Concerts were acoustic sets).  After an hour wait, members of the band took their places as the crowd began to cheer, then a slender figure appeared from the shadows to the left of the stage.

As the lights turned up, out walked Ronnie Dunn as the band fired up the beginning chords of his latest single, “Let The Cowboy Rock!”   Throughout the show, Ronnie spent time telling stories about “leaving the band” and how some of the songs on his self-titled debut album came to be.   The crowd went crazy when Ronnie began to sing the chorus to the smash hit “There Ain’t Nothin’ About You.”  The set list was a mix of Ronnie’s new music and some Brooks & Dunn classics.   Ronnie talked about how “Boot Scootin Boogie” became the song that it did, as well as how the band  Asleep At The Wheel  recorded it first.

The combination of the surprise artist being megastar Ronnie Dunn and the full production version of the show made this one of the best Undercover Concerts yet!
